A winter incentive in Finnish Lapland is not just a winter trip, it’s a true winter experience. This is where you discover life in a world covered in deep snow, with temperatures averaging around -15°C.

The experience

In Finnish Lapland, the surroundings take center stage, and transportation becomes an essential part of the experience. With high-speed snowmobiles and sleds pulled by enthusiastic huskies, you travel through endless white landscapes. Along the way, you may encounter herds of reindeer slowly making their way through the snow.

Despite the freezing temperatures, guests stay warm and comfortable thanks to thermal overalls, warm socks, boots, and gloves provided throughout the trip. Beyond the spectacular rides, activities such as snowshoe hiking, ice fishing, ice rally driving, and ice karting make for unforgettable experiences.

Atmosphere, coziness, authentic cuisine, and open fires play a central role during the delicious meals prepared and served by welcoming Finnish hosts.

Upon arrival at the airport in Finnish Lapland, the first adventure begins immediately. Instead of a bus, a fleet of snowmobiles is ready to take guests on their first journey through the snowy landscape.

Dressed in full thermal gear, guests ride to their first destination: SnowVillage — a unique hotel and restaurant entirely built from snow and ice. After enjoying a delicious meal and drinks served in ice glasses, guests are transferred to their hotel, where their luggage is already waiting in their rooms.

The next morning, the now-familiar snowmobiles are ready once again for new adventures. The destination is a husky farm, home to around 120 energetic huskies. Guests embark on a husky sled ride through the stunning surroundings, followed by a warm soup lunch served by an open fire in a traditional kota.

On the return journey, holes are drilled into the frozen lakes for another unique experience: ice fishing.

Levi also offers an excellent ski area, giving enthusiasts the chance to hit the slopes or snowboard down beautifully illuminated runs.

In the evening, guests gather in an authentic kota, centered around a crackling fire where fresh salmon is prepared. Finnish musicians create a warm and unforgettable atmosphere.

On the final morning, guests head out into the pristine white wilderness on (much-needed) snowshoes. After this final adventure, the trip concludes with lunch before the transfer back to the airport.
